Learn words that are commonly mispronounced. Learn the intonation of phrases. Adjust the speed at which an utterance is spoken to hear the details of each sound.

Did you realize that for good comprehension pronunciation is equally, if not more, important than grammar and vocabulary? Incorrect pronunciation of a word can entirely confuse the other person and/or block communication.

With (How to) Pronounce, you can easily check the pronunciation of a word or phrase and memorize it. You can also check how a native speaker of the language you are learning could say a word in your language.

A must-have for all language users but particularly for:

* learners of foreign languages,
* teachers,
* actors,
* singers,
* public speakers,
* businessmen.

Best news - the pronunciation look-up is completely free!

Pros and cons of (How to) Pronounce app for iPhone and iPad

(How to) Pronounce app good for

This app is perfect for me! It pronounces the word i dont know or cant seem to pronounce correctly on my own, which as rapidly enhanced my results!! Plus u can save words u might want to hear again! Perfect! Thank u!!
Love this app some words not sure about the enunciation and this helps me!
Very good, but it isnt a hundred per cent trustworthy and the accents arent so specifics. Although it helps a lot. :-)
For those who are currently learning an idiom and wanna improve the oral and listening aspect of the language this the big deal. You can listen the proper pronunciation in several languages (according to the country where its spoken) with no big heap of trouble. In 2 different speed options.Highly recommended!
I like it, I use the French Canadian voice and its very clear and interface is simple and easy to use.
Works very well. It is a communication life saver, especially for ones learning a new language.

Some bad moments

It cannot pronounce many words right I now my English and that is NOT it!!!!!!!!
This seems to be pronouncing the words phonetically and ONLY phonetically. It mispronounced "quinoa," "jambalaya" and "analgesic."
Forvo. Com is free and has better examples of English word pronunciation. Words are mispronounced in this so.
My first day using this app. I already love it. Has helped a lot.
When I was trying to speak Spanish it said that dog in Spanish is dog! I already knew what dog was in Spanish. It was perrõ! This app is horrible!!!
I like this app it will pronounce what ever you type in, even if you misspell the word. However, it is not 100% accurate on pronouncing medical terms or medications. But over all, I really recommend this app I have already started two of my co-workers using this application. I highly recommend it.
